Mr. Wolcott

Still cannot understand the preference of Leno over Letterman, but I'll tolerate it when it is accompanied with such missives as this:

"...the Right spits on Vietnam vets every day with impunity, and will spit on future vets. Conservatives support the military only in the vague abstract; beneath their patriotic bluster and sentimentality, they basically think soldiers are chumps, risking their lives when they could be staying home, making money, and carving out a neat career..."

Wolcott also promises something on an event that I saw a snippet of on C-Span II yesterday. It was video of a soiree of some kind at Maureen Dowd's house. I only saw a bit of it, but it may have been the most ridiculous thing on television since Zell Miller's Aaron Burr impression. I'm sure he will fill in more detail later.
