Big Al Anderson

Today on Morning Edition a great piece on one of my favorite artists and songwriters, Al Anderson. I'm no Dedurkheim when it comes to reviewing music or the music industry. For me music is simple, like the Supreme Court says about pornography, I know what I like when I hear it. I tend to gravitate to more melody, simple hooks, sometimes funny or ironic, but never too serious. So I always go back to one of my favorite bands: NRBQ. Anderson was an orginal member of the great band and left in the early 90's when life on the road became too much. Since then he has been writing songs in Nashville. Now he has released a new album that I'm guessing will be worth a listen.
