David Broder's "dream" of killing health care on the alter altar of doing what the Republicans want bipartisanship is summed up by White House Budget Director Peter Orszag:

ORSZAG: We have to remember: there are some who are advocating delay simply because they don’t have anything to put on the table. The typical Washington bureaucratic game of — ‘if you don’t have a better alternative, just delay in the hope that that kills something’ is partly what’s playing out here.


David Broder, his wealth, and his outstanding health insurance and his ear for listening to the advice of the corporate insurance lobbyist can suck it.
