Obviously, it's the "deficits" fault

The time tested method of making sure no jobs are created has always been cutting government spending.

Good thing everyone in power and the media are making sure this long-known historical truth is not getting in the way of cutting government spending.

Only 18,000 jobs created in June, well below expectations...as usual per Atrios, the unders win.

18,000 is ONE TENTH of the 120,000 jobs that were predicted by economists.

I'd say Epic Fail, except I think those are on the Banned Words list.

Repugs have consistently behaved as if the government (state, federal and local) is not part of the overall economy, just because they don't want it to be.

Which is, pretty much, the definition of cognitive dissonance.

What is still quite astounding, and disturbing, is that we have a Democratic president who's been taken in by their bullshit, hook, line and sinker.

That's what you get, Mr. President, for thinking Ronnie Raygun was a "transformative" figure. Sure he was, but not in any positive way. He got the country started down the path of serious decline, and you won't step off that path. You now own the papers on this mess, and cooperating with Raygun's political heirs got you title to this calamity.
