Money shot

Rick Perry, he really loved porn -- especially investing in a company that made it.

Like a good self-proclaimed fundy.

That would be "companies" ?

"Company" actually -- but it is actually a product of 4:30 a.m. grammar so there's that.

This one tickled my memory so I went looking into my "Republican Family Values" file (yeah; I actually have one). I thought it was Dick Armey I was looking for, but it was actually another TEXAN, former Senator and McCain's spiritual financial adviser, Phil "Nation of Whiners" Gramm. My entry:

"Gramm invested $7,500 (some sources say $15,000) in porn movie, Beauty Queens, in 1974. The movie was shelved, but Gramm left the investment alone, to be used in director's next feature. When Gramm's money was finally put to use, it was to make “White House Wedding”, an X-rated "anti-Nixon" movie, written by founder of the Cockettes, a very explicit gay San Francisco performance group."

So, what's the deal with born-again Texans and the porn they hate so much that they invest in it?

They are sharks looking for their next meal. And they know that where there's porn, their life-blood flows... shorter, it's all about the Benjamins... and btw, so is their facade... it's easier to fleece the herd, if they think you're one of them.
