About her "fear the Soviet Union" comment on the radio, Bachmann says, "we all know that it is Russia, it's not the Soviet Union."


If everyone knows it, why don't you?

Soviet Union or Russia... doesn't matter, the last thing folks are afraid of in this country is the rise of the old eastern block... didn't she at least get in a comment about Sharia Law coming to your neighborhood?

Talk about a RW FAIL... can't even get the boogeyman du jour right.

Well, gee, this is no surprise. A stupid explanation for a stupid gaffe. Bachmann has the knack for being consistently stupid.
