Black Friday with the Pike family

Somebody wanted that quality "Sanyo" TV.
Authorities say at least 10 people suffered minor injuries inside a crowded Walmart store in Los Angeles after a female shopper used pepper spray during a confrontation.

Just some holiday seasoning, essentially.

I have therefore thought fit to recommend, and I do hereby recommend, that tomorrow be observed throughout the United States as a day of solemn humiliation, fasting, and prayer; that the citizens of these States, abstaining on that day from their customary worldly occupations, offer their devout addresses to the Father of Mercies agreeably to those forms or methods which they have severally adopted as the most suitable and becoming; that all religious congregations do, with the deepest humility, acknowledge before God the manifold sins and transgressions with which we are justly chargeable as individuals and as a nation, because whereas the bullets flew on Black Friday, and herds of covetous consumers stampeded, none were killed.

As for "the bullets flew," four of the five locations noted in that CNN story were Walmarts, and all in the very early morning hours.

Maybe some of the communities should create laws making it illegal to contribute to the delinquency of shoppers....

RE Pepper Spray

I think that this is completely misundestimated. I think that it is highly commendable that some people were considerate enough to bring extra holiday food product to share with their fellow shoppers.

Commenting from Black Friday bunker No. 1.

So like NYPD's Tony Baloney, will her punishment be loss of a few day's vacation?

Maybe she should have shopped in Davis, where the local DA can't be bothered prosecuting chemical assaults.
