From the IOKIYAR files

The largest of the Republican White Hopes gets back in the news in his inimitable style:

Not only does Gov. Chris Christie not regret calling a Navy SEAL and one-time Democratic candidate for office an “idiot” at a town hall last week in Roebling, today he took the criticism further, labeling him a jerk, too.

“Just because he was a Navy SEAL doesn’t give him the right to be a jerk,”
No, that's what being a Republican governor is for. Let us all take a minute to honor Chris Christie's valiant service in the burger wars.

Meanwhile, in other regions of the country, the heart of Old Dixie does make one realize the value of anonymous internet postings.

And the great shroud of the sea rolled on as it rolled five thousand years ago.

I'm beginning to suspect that Gov. KrispyKreme hasn't been tarred and feathered and run out of office on a rail yet because there aren't nearly enough feathers to cover him, and New Jersey is having some difficulty finding a rail strong enough to carry him.

But, it's the thought that counts, isn't it?

Yea, fck the South. But I think the real reasons underlying the Civil War had more to do with addressing the influence and underwriting of the Exchequer of England (tobacco, tea, etc) with the Confederate staes, and a not so veiled attempt to re-secure sovereignty for the Crown in the States proper. Tough decision, Abe.

Too bad we had to end up with a bunch of minimally educated goons posing as Blue Dogs and worse.

And then the Governor stomped his foot, causing the earth to shake and small children to cower in fear...
